Forbes.com has reported that human resources departments across the county have become wary of applicants who are not on Facebook.

The German magazine Der Taggspiegel has made the connection that accused theater shooter James Holmes and Norwegian mass murder Anders Behring Breivik have as common ground their lack of Facebook profiles. 

Slashdot
has summed up the story by saying, 'not having a Facebook account could be the first sign that you are a mass murderer.'

An interesting article in The Guardian discusses the results of the recent Wellbeing Index in the UK.The conclusion at which it arrived is that the way to bliss is to live on a remote island and not work - nothing too surprising there. What is surprising is the use of taxpayer money to fund government projects that state, well... the obvious.

The director of the Wellbeing programme has stated that the study was a great step towards creating "policy-making with wellbeing as a priority." But...what does that really mean? Will the government provide islands for us all? Read more at {CentreforEconomicPerformance}.
