humDo you hear an elusive low-pitched drone? If you do - you are not alone and you are not crazy. Hundreds of people worldwide are plagued by this low frequency noise which cannot be attributed to a specific source.

"The hum" has created misery in many lives as it is constant and often worst at night.

There have been cases reported of entire communities being affected by "the hum".

Some speculate that the noise could be caused by gas pipes, power lines, industrial fans, refridgerators, heavy machinery, low-frequency submarine communications, and, yes, even alien contact.

The strange truth is that the source cannot be located. It is definitely an external sound and not in the heads of the sufferers.
